Luther Trail in Hesse e.V.
On 12 September 2012, the association Lutherweg in Hessen e.V. was founded to create an ecumenical pilgrimage trail along the old trade route "short Hesse", Luther's travel route in 1521 to Worms - and from Worms to Wartburg Castle. Funded by the State of Hesse, the Protestant Regional Churches in Hesse and many patrons and sponsors, the "Luther Trail 1521" is now supported and revitalised by the municipalities and church communities along the way. As the "builder", the association still has to take care of the preservation five years after the opening.
Our wish is: "May it last for a long time".
