God's blessing never runs out, his mercy is new every morning (cf. Lamentations 3:22-24).
For this reason, visitors to our Diakonissefor this reason, visitors to our church can not only leave this oasis of peace in the middle of Frankfurt's Holzhausen district inspired and blessed, but can also take a "blessing sock" with them - a baby sock, lovingly knitted, containing a word of blessing that gives courage.
Many dear people support us in knitting these socks so that we can fill them with blessings - in German, English and French - such as You set my feet on wide open space. (Psalm 31:9b) or Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105)
However, the socks are so much in demand that we are very happy to have your help.
If you would like to develop your talent and have the opportunity to knit little baby socks, simply bring them to the Diakonissenhaus - or we can pick them up! We will fill the donated socks with a suitable Bible word. Promise. So that the blessing can be passed on.
