The flute circle of the Frankfurter Diakonissenhaus, like the Schwestenchor, has a long tradition. Formerly, this circle consisted of Diakonissen and pupils from the FDH training centres. Today, our flute circle consists of two Diakonissen and six women "from outside" play on soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders.
In our weekly rehearsals we mainly deal with music that can be played in church services: Chorales, chorale preludes, free pieces of old and new masters.
But we also like to participate in house music, festivals and outdoor summer music.
